The US iTunes store only has a couple of compilation discs with a track apiece, but there's one disc, of some of the early Ember years stuff, in the UK store. It's just called "A Summer Song", 17 tracks, and it's from El records. (Who?) Heaven knows what the quality's like, some of those hurled together discs can be pretty ropey (see the discography on Jason's website), and it's only 7.99. You can buy the whole thing, or individual tracks for 79p a pop.

I suppose you'd need a Pay-Pal account, or some other means of paying internationally - can't say I've ever tried it with iTunes, but I presume it's possible. These days even the local corner shop seems to be able to deal with internet orders without batting an eyelid!

But I reckon you'd be better doing it the old-fashioned way - buying a known quality CD from Electric Paintbox, Amazon, eBay or whatever, and inputting it yourself. It doesn't take long, and you know you're getting the real thing.

Just downloaded the Summer Song album, and heard the live "Yesterday's Gone" (Mmmmmm) and "If I had my way" (Yee-Hah!) for the first time. Sorry, don't mean to gloat .

Certainly worth kicking up a fuss about - after all, C&J were and are much bigger in the US than the UK, it seems daft the disc is available here and not there.

I guess I know where this one's coming from, but is it one of your own, or common parlance in the US of, which hasn't reached these shores yet? (I may be a silver surfer, but I like to flatter myself I'm not that slow on the uptake). One to be savoured and used with discrimination and to confuse the enemy! Thank you. PS.
