Looks like it!
How are you this evening? I'm sitting here with a 7UP catching up on the news that was going on all day while I slaved over a warm computer graphics program. |

Hi! I just discovered this incredible C&J website a couple a hours ago. I thought I was the only Chad & Jeremy fan still alive! had I known they were still alive, I would have been in the front row in Cleveland in March! I've loved the music forever, but knew very little about the guys, this site has given me a whole new appreciation for their talents, and their personalities. I'm just thrilled to find there are others,(obviously many) who still care about the music. Although I play rock and blues, C&J songs are my fave listening, at least that's what my computer tells me. But anyway, this is my chance to thank Chad and Jeremy personaly for all the great memories and a lifetime of musical inspiration! THANKS! |

This board does need to be active. This is the only place where I can talk about Chad and Jeremy and people will know them.
I usually have to sing the Summer Song for anyone to recognize who I'm talking about. ![]() |

Well, Tony Bennett made a comeback with the coffeehouse generation. His son did the publicity and management. He did quite well being re introduced to listeners today. I do feel C & J could do the same.
Jason is young. There are many young people out there who would love to be re introduced.. It would be good to learn how Tony Bennet's son did it. I think Bennett had a gold record as well. Many youngsters are Into the "Rat Pack" and many are now into the 60s cult. I see a lash back against the wild entry into the 21 st century and many young people want a more laid back lifestyle. |

I love Tony Bennett.
I'm secretly trying to weasle Chad and Jeremy into my friends minds by humming their songs and sending my friend C&J youtube videos. If they made a comeback I would die of happiness! ![]() |

I am not surprized....You are NOT the only one.. I talked with a friend of mind whose children are 20 and 17.... she said there is a wave of returning to this music... I mentioned Chad and Jeremy and she said she can see it being popular with todays children.. .There seems to be a rebellion against the Lindsay Lohan/Paris Hilton/Brittany Spears "samo" towards a cooler style of yesteryear that is more "solid" and timeless as they would say..I think the time is right for C & J for the younger rebellious creative youth who do not follow the crowd but use their own passion to find their love of music. I think they are determining the future of music by their individuality , strength, and passion .

Aw, thank you.
I remember a few years back a friend of mine and everyone in her school was very much into classic rock. They called themselves hippies without the drugs and free love.) Although their fandom was short lived and quite main-stream it showed me that there is hope. ![]() |

I was a long blonde hair hip hugger pant Teen back then. I never did drugs or free love... Yes, there were many of us...
I was a surfer and was an honor student ~ Beach babe with a brain and very health conscious. In fact most of us did not do those things! The minority who did it, were shocking enough to get publicity and attention.. I did wear the clothes.... The free love and drugs are overrated.. and not as rampant as most would like to believe.. Most did not do it. |

It seems to be that way about most things. It's true what they say, one bad apple does indeed spoil the bunch.

The best way to keep the board active is to talk incessantly.
The 'General Forum' is also designed as a place where we don't have to talk specifically about C&J, but about all sorts of other things, not just music. I do need to add a few more videos to YouTube... |

Elizabeth: As I have seen it over the years, those who are strong and cool do not run like Lemmings to others call. We cherish things that are universal , timeless, and of quality. We go beyond the pale of mere mortals
My husband and I are both fans of Star Trek since we were 15 yrs old. And of course Dr Who. Another tv series from the 60s you may want to check out is "The Prisoner" with Patrick McGoohan. He was suppose to be the first James Bond but turned it down for this very "heady" 60's spy/mystery series.. that kept everyone glued to their seats to the point the series has a following called the "Six of One "Society based in UK. The location of the series is Port Meirion in Wales and was not revealed until the last controversial episode. if you decide watch the series , you must start from the beginning as the Good Witch of the North told Dorothy, otherwise it will be confusing. There are not that many episodes.. but I think you may enjoy it,if you have not come across it yet. My daughter loves Buzby Berkley , the father of the overhead cam shots in the 30s.. Her reports in middle school were often on dances and people time not too far past. ITs good to learn history, because we do stand on the shoulders of giants as they say from the past. Life would be boring if we were always based in the "NOW". Its great to incorporate things which are worthwhile for us today from the past. Like finding a rare jewel. |

BTW: I AM STILL a fan of Alice in Wonderland and wear Alice Mad Hatter Tea Party charm bracelets often.
If you are curious.. the cat image which inspired the Cheshire Cat really exists... a fading image with only a strong smile noticably seen at a small Church once patronized by Lewis Carrol. And of course... 9 3/4 Platform inspiration really does exist. |

Jasonrh: Upload videos to youtube and I will love you.
Yvonne: I think I'm going to see if there are episodes of "The Prisoner" on youtube or if I can rent some on DVD. And it's very interesting about the Cheshire. When I was very young I always called a cresent moon a cheshire moon because it reminded me of when the cheshire disapeared with only his smile left in the disney movie. ![]() |

The Prisoner | ||
|
Elizabeth: They have short pieces of it... But be sure to start From the beginning or it will not make sense... and you need to go through the entire episode before going on to the next.... as they did when it was broadcasted in the 1960s.
