I enjoyed your concert in June of this year at Raley's Field in Sacramento, CA! You sang a song "AVACADO" to the tune of a Jimmy Buffet song. I would love to have the words to your version! I found it very entertaining! Thanks Barbara

I believe the tune is the Eagle's Desperado.

Man, I gues I was busy getting my new window upgrades installed in my house at that time. Here I find out, accidentally, by chance, while searching for lyrics, that eventually got me to this site, then this forum, then this entry, and I find out I could have driven 12 miles from my house to see Chad and Jeremy! I guess I truly am an "old lady"! Guess I have to get out more! Maybe when we are riding up to Sturgis this year we can hit Idaho on the way.... (the long round-about way from Sacramento!).
I have such fond memories of C&J ... my favorite album, "of cabbages and kings" --Jeanne |

I attended you show at Boulder Station last night and was
thoroughly entertained. I appreciated the thoughtful staging with Chad on my left and Jeremy to the right; it helped me keep your identities straight in my mind the website. I hope so. I know at casinos your stage time is limited, but it would be nice to hear more remembrances of your august careers. Thanks again for a great show! |

It'd be great to get the lyrics for Avocado and also for If I Had A Hammer/Hummer on the site...Very entertaining show also in Kent, Ohio, July 21. Even in the heat & humidity, when Chad said his fingers were slipping off the keys during one song still they sounded wonderful. More stand-out songs that night were All The Harvests, Zanzibar Sunset, The Beatles If I Fell and I'LL BE BACK!! Also Willow Weep For Me, Summer Song, If I Loved You, Distant Shores, Yesterday's Gone. Well it was a very special show, every song great to hear.
To Chad: I hope you & Jeremy still also perform I Have Dreamed sometimes, love your version of that very much. I don't know how you pick songs to record or perform at concerts but if you do another Beatles song could you try Words Of Love?! Think it'd be outstanding too with your voices. |

Just heard Words Of Love over the radio by The Beatles, so time for a little correction, oops it's Buddy Holly's song!

Last July I asked Jeremy if you could post the lyrics to "Avocado." As it is November - I am compelled to
ask, "Who (or whom) must I shag to get those lyrics?" I don't think I could go through Christmas without them... please grant this humble fan's Yuletide wish. (if the guilt thing's not working I could try effusive flattery; your call) |

It's now December 2007 and 18 months since I first requested the lyrics for "Avocado" at Boulder Station in Las Vegas. In fact you haven't crossed the Rockies since
then... was it something I said? Is it the name "Randy"? Is there a charity I can donate money to to get those lyrics? Are you coming back to Vegas? Why do fools fall in love? How can you mend a broken heart? Do you know the way to San Jose? What's it all about, Alfie? |
